Think Tank Forum (Complex Review)
Think Tank Forum
First Impressions |
- With all honesty, you have done a perfect job giving the perfect first impression to anyone visiting your forum for the first time. I don't know but for me, even regular members will still anticipate/ feel like it's their first time visiting your site. There is a professional complement between the words "Think Tank" and the forum skin. Your board announcements are strategically and intelligently placed so that members visiting will be updated on the events of your site. Your widgets are very useful, especially the background color changer (ergonomics considered!). To sum up, you have a genuine and professional-looking forum! Good job!
General Forum Appearance |
- I can say that you have done a big amount of effort in having your professional forum appearance. The graphics look flawless and fitting to your forum. The log-in page contributes to the very professional look of your forum. Your banner is simple yet elegant, a cliche I like to describe it. The color combination is perfect and it helps keep the eyes of a member from stress (relaxing, I'd say). There's not much that I'd say in this area. It's just perfect.
Forum Activity |
- Considering the age of your forum, I can see that half of your members are very active. But with the numbers said, posts are mostly recent as interesting topics and events are found in your site. In a qualitative sense, you have achieved a moderate forum activity from your members, which I think is a good one because your members, as well as the people running the forum, interact sensibly with one another. This, I'd say, is a good indicator that your forum has achieved its implicit objectives. In time, I believe that the activity will be boosted as I can see interesting and sensible forum games inside, with prizes that can interest your members more. I would encourage you to affiliate more with other active websites to enhance your forum activity quantitatively. Other than that, carry on in maintaining quality activity in your forum!
Staff & Usergroups |
- The number of your staff is proportional to the number of members in your forum. I would just like to suggest to have a better description of some of the groups, for they look very interesting. Members would love to know how different are Moderators from Super Moderators, as well as Golden Members from Members of the forum (though later the process of getting the Golden Members is conveyed as members will browse in the forum). Nonetheless, just as what I have said, you have a great number of staff and groups to your forum activity.
Forum Originality |
- Your forum is original. The features you have are very unique (such as the Coins Donation system, Games system, and the Think Tank Store). Simply said, much effort has been done to the forum to achieve this level of uniqueness. Good job!
Forum Layout & Organization |
- In this area, I'd say that you have organized your forum perfectly and fitting to the "professional" impression that you have made.
Grammar & Spelling |
- Grammatically, your forum is commendable. I'd just like you to look on some of the suggestions I have here. I don't know if you mean it, but in your "Think Tank Rules" description, it should be "wandering" (to walk or move leisurely) instead of "wondering" (a desire or curiosity), since you added the word around after wondering. In your "T.T. Coin Store", replace sugnature with signature. In the same area, the word "until" should all be in lower case. On your forum rules, please change singature as it is misspelled. Lastly, for climactic purpose, I'd suggest this forum description: "A free forum where everyone can meet, chat, make friends, play games, and inspire."
